Ooooh, Sparkle.Thanks for your helpful suggestions to keep track of kid mittens. We haven't had issue before, but INBA was walking through the store with his 'shark' hat in hand and mittens shoved inside, swinging it around. So the mitten must have flown out without his notice. Usually, he is very good about keeping them in his pocket or the bottom of the backpack.
I am going to get some groceries in the morning, so I will ask one more time if it was found. Then, I guess, I will have to make another.
I am willing to wager that he will be more careful in the future. He was quite upset.

Whoohoooo! Lovin' the socks! I tried monkey once and did not really like the outcome. I think the yarn you picked is perfect for the pattern. Great pic! I'll have to try monkey again!!

I think I have that same yarn, if not it is very similar. I might have to try that pattern out. Your socks look great. If it makes you feel any better, I lost on of my fetchings made of Debbie Bliss silk/alpaca in San Fran. I was so bummed when I realized this. I guess I will have to knit some more.
